Application
Sodium Acetate Used as a buffer, flavoring agent, aroma enhancer, pH regulator, and preservative.
Flavoring: Add at a concentration of 0.1% - 0.3% to alleviate unpleasant odors, prevent discoloration, and improve flavor.
Preservation: Sodium Acetate Used in fish paste products, bread, to control the sticky phenomenon caused by fungi; for the preservation of high-water-content grains.
Acidulant: Sodium Acetate Used in condiments, sauerkraut, mayonnaise, fish cakes, sausages, bread, sticky cakes, etc.
Recombinant preservation: Sodium Acetate Combined with methylcellulose, phosphates, etc., to enhance the preservation properties of sausages, bread, and sticky cakes.
Wastewater treatment
Function: Sodium Acetate Adjust the pH value of wastewater. Principle: In water, it undergoes hydrolysis to produce OH⁻, which neutralizes acidic ions (such as H⁺ and NH₄⁺).
