Dissolving gold minerals to form soluble complexes

Cyanide-based agents:By forming [Au(CN)₂]⁻ complex ions through the combination of cyanide ions (CN⁻) and gold ions, the dissolution process is accelerated in the presence of oxygen (reaction equation: 4Au + 8NaCN + O₂ + 2H₂O → 4Na[Au(CN)₂] + 4NaOH).

Thiosulfate-based agents:Catalyzed by copper ions, thiosulfate ions (S₂O₃²⁻) form [Au(S₂O₃)₂]³⁻ complex ions with gold ions, which is particularly suitable for copper-containing or carbonaceous gold ores.

Inhibiting the interference of gangue minerals

Functional performance:Non-cyanide agents (such as amino acid-based agents) can selectively dissolve gold minerals, reducing the dissolution of gangue minerals like quartz and clay, thus lowering the difficulty of subsequent gold extraction.

Regulating the pulp environment to optimize leaching conditions
