Applications of Acetone:
1. Acetone is used in the production of epoxy resin, polycarbonate, plexiglass, medicine, pesticides, etc.It is also a good solvent for coating, adhesive, cylinder acetylene, etc.It is also used as diluent, cleaner and extractant.
2. It is also an important raw material for manufacturing acetic anhydride, diacetone alcohol, chloroform, iodoform, epoxy resin, polyisoprene rubber, methyl methacrylate, etc.
3. Used as solvent in smokeless powder, celluloid, acetate fiber, spray paint and other industries.Used as an extraction agent in industries such as oils and fats.
