The softener can be used as a synergist for pre-dyeing treatment, because the heavy metal ions in the water combine with the detergent molecules to form an insoluble metal salt, thereby reducing the detergent washing ability. These insoluble metal salts are also deposited on the textile, causing the textile to be hard and hairy, affecting the quality of the pretreatment. The softener has a strong chelating ability for heavy metal ions, and can block these metal ions to prevent the heavy metal ions from adversely affecting the detergent and improve the quality of the pretreatment.
The softener can be used as a leveling agent and a brightening agent for dyeing. Because heavy metal ions can precipitate with anionic dyes, color spots and color spots are generated. Adding a softener can prevent the generation of stains and color spots and improve the rubbing fastness of dyeing. The softener can also be used as a post-enzyme brightening agent for denim, soaping agents, and the like.
The water softener can be used as a scale inhibitor for printing and dyeing equipment. The softener can complex the metal ions in the dirt, and has an emulsification and dispersion effect on the dirt, which is beneficial to remove the dirt.
