Color masterbatch is a highly concentrated plastic colorant made by uniformly dispersing pigments/dyes (20-80% loading) in carrier resin with additives, offering superior tinting strength and dispersion compared to raw pigments - typically only 1-4% addition achieves desired coloration in base resins for various plastic applications.
Color masterbatch is a mixture composed of:
• Carrier resins (e.g., PE, PP, PET)
• Organic pigments/dyes: such as phthalocyanine blue, titanium dioxide
• Additives (e.g., dispersants, stabilizers)
