Application & method
Trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) is a highly effective disinfectant and bleaching agent. It is known for its stability during storage, ease of use, and safety. It is widely utilized in various applications, including food processing, drinking water disinfection, silkworm farming, and rice seed sterilization.
Method:
Drinking Water Disinfection: Add 0.4 grams of TCCA per 100 kilograms of water, stir well, and allow it to stand for a period of time to ensure proper disinfection.
Swimming Pool Disinfection: Use 3 to 5 grams of TCCA per cubic meter of water daily to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pool.
Industrial Cooling Water Treatment: Add 0.5 grams of TCCA per cubic meter of water in the cooling circulation system. The chloride concentration should be maintained between 0.25 to 0.5 ppm, and the pH level should ideally be kept within the range of 7 to 8.
